Pala donates 1,545 pairs of shoes to Soles4Souls

PALA â" Pala Casino Spa & Resortâ's Pala G.I.V.E.S. and Planet Pala environmental program has donated 1,545 pairs of shoes to Soles4Souls.The Nashville, Tenn. shoe charity collects and distributes shoes to people living in extreme poverty or those recovering from natural disasters.

Palaâ's team members donated the shoes during August and they were shipped to Soles4Souls headquarters on Sept. 6. The shoes collected at Pala will be distributed in Haiti and Japan. The Pala G.I.V.E.S. and Planet Pala programs provide community assistance on a local, national and international basis.

Since 2005, Soles4Souls has distributed more than 13 million pairs of shoes to those in need.
